I kept telling the person I talked to that I only wanted TV and internet - I never use the phone service (which they charge $30 a month for) and the person I spoke to said there was no TV/internet only package and I had to have the phone. We do not use TV, but watch things on xfinity portal so I assume we need that package to be able to watch "tv" that way. Certainly does not seem like we need a box though.

But my girlfriend signed up for internet and is paying $39 a month, a friend has flex and is paying $50 and I am seeing that I could switch to something else and be paying 10.0.0.1 is an exclusive class of IP address.
